Hidden Messages in Popular Movies We’ve Never Noticed

Making a movie means you always have to keep your audience intrigued, but these filmmakers have gone the extra mile and actually planted hidden messages in their movies.

From barely visible objects in the background that have special meaning behind them, to easter eggs, and shots that are meant to subliminally influence the viewers, these scenes contain hidden messages that went unnoticed for the most part.

Most movie buffs know that George Lucas created Star Wars, and that he was also co-creator and co-writer to the Indiana Jones movies. But most people hadn’t noticed that, in Raiders of the Lost Arc, there’s a small nod towards the former franchise.

If you look closely at the hieroglyphs on the ancient temple’s walls, you can see the clear image of R2-D2 and C-3PO, the beloved Star Wars droids. This isn’t the only Lucas easter egg in the franchise, as in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indie has to escape a place called “Club Obi Wan”. Apparently, Lucas loved giving little references to his own movies, and especially his first film THX 1138.
